“People who care only about making money will not sustain this firm — or the trust of its clients — for very much longer.”
TODAY is my last day at Goldman Sachs. After almost 12 years at the firm — first as a summer intern while at Stanford, then in New York for 10 years, and now in London — I believe I have worked here long enough to understand the trajectory of its culture, its people and its identity. A guy with really big ears driving a Mini-Cooper would send him into a murderous rage. Show Log For Tuesday March 13, 2012

The General wants an enforced one month “sabbatical” for all truckers in order that they be evaluated psychologically. As a young man driving trucks General Shaw fantisized about running someone off the road and into an “oil tank farm.” He also had a problem with the kinds of silhouettes he saw through the rear window. A guy with really big ears driving a Mini-Cooper would send him into a murderous rage. Dr. Jim Sadler called in and he happens to be just such a guy….
With Dr. Jim Sadler, Debbie Dailey and Bobbie Dooley
