Dr. Ron Tarner discussed global climate change and how its tough to explain to the average lay person. He went on to talk about how climate change could mean someday a hole in reality leading to a “land of twinkling lights.”

This morning Phil and the panel opened the show with a discussion of economic bubbles which initially was misunderstood by Bud as “Bubbles the Chimp.” He couldn’t figure out why Phil went to Merrill Lynch to talk about a monkey act…

Bob Green and David G. Hall tried to crash the show with blather about how what Sterling did wasn’t as bad as Charles Barkely making fun of fat women

Mavis Leonard worried about the missing “Casey Casey” while she monitored a student of hers, John ‘the Penguin’ Brown, playing a harpsichord recital

The show featured Bob Green talking about whether he’d let his daughter date black guys, Margaret Grey discussing the Filth File including a recent photo submission showing a place called ‘Bunghole Liquors” and the topic of Michael Sam and his draft day, boyfiend kiss…

                                    Doom Hurdle at Cratered Park

Bob Green discussed Donald Sterling while his store is featuring a post-Easter Sale called “The Crucifiction Continues.” Bob claims it has nothing to do with Sterlings on-going problems. It’s about selling left-over Easter candy even though Phil and the panel point out that Easter was about resurrection, not crucifiction.

Ted Bell, owner of Ted’s of Beverly Hills steakhouse, told the audience about being at the Beverly Hills Hotel to protest the government of Brunei’s ownership. Ted said Jay Leno led the assembled people in a protest cheer; “1-2-3 Brunei can shove it up their ass!”

Jeff Dowdder was at Cratered Park in either Nebraska or Texas riding the roller coaster Doom Hurdle. He sounded like he was going to die but afterward said it was just “okay.”
