Flaming Cavalry Bury Raging Palm Tree 30-10, Advance To Dickman Bowl

Utah beat Miami for the first time this season and in a playoff game, 30-10, Saturday at Miami’s Herbert Hoover Grounds to advance to their second ever Dickman Bowl.
Flaming Cavalry running back Perrish Shinebox ran the Tree defense down with a league record 235 yards and one touchdown while quarterbacks Conner Cobbler and Dontae Poochie tossed two touchdown passes and Andre Guhoogan kicked three field goals. Utah, finishing 9-7 in 2015 and winning the Central Division, picked off Miami quarterback Avery Zingberg twice to defeat Miami, which had finished 13-3 atop the Eastern Division. Zingberg went 14 of 26 for 293 yards with one touchdown pass.
Utah plays the winner of Sunday’s Tampa-Portland game in next week’s Dickman Bowl.
