By using our subscription streaming service, you agree to the following terms and conditions of use.

PRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Please see the Privacy Statement on each website for our policies with regard to your privacy and personal information.

MEMBER ACCOUNT, PASSWORD, AND SECURITY:

In order to become a member, you must complete the registration process by providing us with complete and accurate information as requested in our online registration form. After you have fully completed the registration form, you will then be given a password and a member name. The combination of the e-mail address and User Name form a unique identifier for your account. If we do not recognize your device from a previous sign in, you will be asked to enter the e-mail address on file to help locate your account. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and account. You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.

MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS OF USE:

We may from time to time change the terms and conditions governing the web site and streaming subscription service. It is important to regularly review these terms and conditions to stay informed with regard to changes to the terms and conditions governing your use of the web site. Your continued use of this service constitutes your agreement to all such terms and conditions.

PERSONAL AND NON-COMMERCIAL USE:

Our streaming subscription service is for your personal and non-commercial use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products obtained from it without our prior written consent. RESTRICTIONS ON USE:

As a condition of your use of our streaming subscription service, you will not use it for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. You may not use the service in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website and service or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the website and service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, any related website, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to it, through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the service. Your access to the streaming subscription service may be terminated immediately, with or without notice from The Phil Hendrie Show Subscription Service, if you fail to comply with any provisions of these terms and conditions.

You further agree not to email, post, or otherwise disseminate any the user ID, password, links, or other information which gives you access to the streaming subscription service. You further acknowledge that should you violate these conditions, your subscription may be terminated without notice, and you may be held responsible for damages caused by your actions.

SOFTWARE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE STREAMING SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE:

All software that is made available to view and/or download in connection with the streaming subscription service, (“Software”) is owned or controlled by The Phil Hendrie Show Subscription Service and/or its licensors, affiliates and suppliers and is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Your use of the Software is governed by the terms of the end user license agreement, if any, which accompanies or is included with the Software, and The Phil Hendrie Show Subscription Service accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with any Software owned or controlled by third parties.

CANCELLATION:

THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE reserves the right to terminate your access to THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. Upon such termination, THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE shall return the unused pro-rata portion of your THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE fee on a pro-rated basis to you within ninety (90) days of the termination of your access to THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE.

GENERAL:

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Jurisdiction for any claims arising under this agreement shall lie exclusively with the state or federal courts within Los Angeles County, California. The U.N. Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded from any interpretation of this Agreement. If any provision of these terms and conditions are found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of these terms and conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to the use of THE STREAMING SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. No changes to these terms and conditions shall be made except by a revised posting on this page, and these terms and conditions may not be modified by any advertisements of The Phil Hendrie Show Subscription Service or oral or written communications by The Phil Hendrie Show Subscription Service, except for a written communication from an authorized officer of The Phil Hendrie Show Subscription Service.

    • How can I terminate my subscription?

      Simply send an e-mail to [email protected] requesting a cancellation and we would be more than happy to assist you.

    • I’m signed into my Backstage Pass. Why can’t I leave comments on the site?

  • Download Problems

    • How do I download the recent shows onto my iPod?

      If you direct yourself to “Recent Shows” under the “Backstage” drop down header you will see under the Monday-Friday shows that there are two options; the top link is the streaming version of the show (Windows Media Player), which you can use to listen to Phil right in your browser! The bottom link is the downloadable, MP3 version of the show, which is what you want to put on your iPod.
      Depending on what web browser you are using, a simple left-click should start streaming or downloading. If you are attempting to download the show and left-clicking does not work, merely right-click the downloadable MP3 file and select “Save Link As…” to somewhere on your computer that you will remember. Then you can drag and drop those MP3 files into iTunes and onto your iPod or other music player.

      If you are using a Mac and Safari to access the site then you can download the shows by holding down the “Option” key and clicking on the MP3 link.

      Alternatively, you can simply subscribe to our RSS feed, which will automatically download the daily shows to your computer!

      Our live and on-demand videocasts are available for all iOS and Android devices! To watch on-demand, simply navigate to the Recent Shows, tap on the “Videocast” link, and then tap on the video when it pops open in a new window. To watch live, select “Watch Live” under the “Live” menu.

    • How can I watch the videocast on my Android device?

      Each Android device handles videos differently. Some Android devices will play the videocast natively, but if you’re receiving errors when attempting to view the videocast, you may need to try installing Flash or using an alternate web browser.

      You can install Flash onto your Android device by following these steps.

      If installing Flash does not solve the issue, you can try using an alternate web browser. The browsers that have been shown to work well with the majority of Android devices are Puffin, Now Browser, and Chrome.

Stuff about Phil!

Creative genius chock full of character, comedy and commentary — that’s Phil Hendrie.  Famous for concocting a cast of fictional characters, all of whom he plays on air while simultaneously serving as host of his national talk radio program, Hendrie actually started out as a disc jockey at WBJW 1440 AM in Winter Park, Fla., a suburb of Orlando.  After 15 years working as a disc jockey at stations across the country, he realized he hated what he was doing.   Moving to Los Angeles, Hendrie debuted in talk radio as a weekend host at KFI-AM 640.

In 1990 at KVEN-AM in Ventura, Calif., Hendrie introduced his first fictional character on air — an Iraqi, Raj Fahneen.   The Gulf War was happening and Fahneen vociferously defended Saddam Hussein.  Thinking he was a real person, listeners went ballistic and the phones lit up.   An entire cast of characters would evolve from that moment on, marking Hendrie’s place in radio history.

Hendrie’s popularity resulted in the radio show going national in 1999.  By 2006, he was ready to explore the next chapter of his career — acting in front of the camera.  He departed from radio and quickly added to his resume which already included Trey Parker’s and Matt Stone’s motion picture, Team America:  World Police, as well as television roles on Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Richard Appel’s A.U.S.A., and Judd Apatow’s North Hollywood.   He also starred in Steve Levitan’s Phil Hendrie and wrote, executive produced and starred in Phil at the Gate.

For the last 10 years, Hendrie has regularly played characters on FOX’s popular animated series King of the Hill and Futurama.   Other recent television work includes roles on Giants of Radio, The Replacements, Three Strikes, Mike Birbiglia’s Secret Public Journal, David Mamet’s The Unit, and NBC’s Teachers.  He also played Nets Coach in the motion picture, Semi-pro.  Hendrie continues to act today and is currently working on the motion picture, Last Call.

Although he enjoyed acting on a full-time basis, Hendrie missed the daily creative outlet that radio provided.  In 2007, he returned to national radio in the late evenings.  On over 100 radio stations today, Hendrie is a master of satire and comedy.  He has come a long way since doing voices as a child growing up in Arcadia, CA.  Influenced by comedy greats such as Jackie Gleason, Lenny Bruce, and “Emperor” Bob Hudson, Hendrie has artfully carved his own niche in comedy and the spoken word format.
