The show got into climate change for the first time in many a day when Dr. Ron Tarner, attending a testimonial dinner for a retiring colleague, poo-poo's a report that the rate glaciers are melting on Greenland is slowing. Dr. Tarner didn't like the idea of having to cite climate change science for a "bunch of dumbbells" and really didn't like RC Collins asking him to get Stephen Hawking's autographGreenland. Is it melting or ain't it? The release of a some of the materials recovered in the Bin Laden compound occasioned a panel discussion with Bobbie Dooley (talking about a Horatio Sanz video with orgasm/waterboarding jokes) Margeret Grey (who sang "I Wish You Love" with an explosion sound effect) and the hearing impaired Debbie Daily (who also sang and better than Margeret)

Bobbie Dooley, Larry Grover and Corrine Grover, Larry's mom, talk about Obama and the first anniversary of the killing of Bin Laden. Bobbie, as an Obama supporter, says the Republicans will have to suck on Obama being "the guy that puilled the trigger." Larry finds that appraisal "sadistic." Meanwhile Mrs Grover claims Larry uses a racial slur in talking about Obama and Larry denies it Also Harvey Weirman and RC Collins engage in a discussion about Nadya Suleman, the so-called "Octo-Mom" and her prospects now that she's declared bankruptcy. Naturally, with Harvey and RC, there are insults, baiting, threats of violence and then, at the end, Harvey going through the phone line to exact some sick revenge on young Mr. Collins.

Bobbie Dooley tells Phil that the anniversary of the "neutralizing" of Osama Bin Laden will be "Obama's party" and the Republicans will just have to "suck on it." Vernon Dozier returns with Brett Buford, the father of a student that complained Vernon was insulting people that contributed to the George Zimmerman defense fund. Vernon and Buford traded insults, baited each other and basically got nothing accomplished through the entire hour... Margaret Grey and Frank Grey check in from the airport to tell Phil about "a wonderful, rustic winery up there near where you go to that ranch." They tell Phil it's called "The Burned Out Clutter Home," named after the family murdered in Kansas and the subjects of Capote's "In Cold Blood." Phil swears he'll never buy a bottle of wine from them as long as they have that name. Frank gets indignant. "You don't know who you're messing with." With General Gaylan Shaw...
Starting things out was another visit from news anchor Don Berman who told Phil he was denied permission by channel 19 to air his editorial opinion about George Zimmerman; that he shot Trayvon Martin because of "Hispanic Rage." At a recent homeowners meeting in Western Estates, Bobbie Dooley stopped the proceedings to ask the rhetorical question, "Who did Charles Manson kill?" The attendees were stunned as "their eyes widened and their jaws drooped" though likely not for the reasons Bobbie thought. As a result Ms. Dooley thinks Manson should be granted parole on Wednesday.

A free for all that touched on Margaret's liberal credentials, Frank's gender confusion and Don Micksa's regrets over asking a caller to mail him her underwear. Show Log For Tuesday April 3, 2012Don Micksa, a liberal professor from the University of Washington, told Phil that he, Don, was a white man black people could trust since he dated a black girl who was the younger sister of a Black Panther. Don said the best thing to do with George Zimmerman was "to feed him to the Black Panthers so he can be put on trial in one of those "people's tribunals." Later Bobbie Dooley, Margaret Grey, Steve Dooley, Frank Grey and, yes, Don Micksa (who had stopped by the Dooley's for a drink) got into a free for all that touched on Bobbie's ongoing need for closure around the lottery, Margaret's liberal credentials, Frank's gender confusion and Don Micksa's regrets over asking caller to mail him her underwear.
