Biting The Hand That Feeds Him? Phil Hendrie Gets Animated Talk Radio Network syndicated personality and KFI/Los Angeles weekend host, Phil Hendrie, has joined the cast of 20th Century Fox Television’s new animated series, Napoleon Dynamite. Based on the 2004 hit film of the same name, Hendrie (pictured) will play a “Liger Farmer” — a guy who cross breeds lions and tigers — who’s voice is inspired by one of the talk host’s popular radio characters, Steve Bosell. Hendrie fans are also likely to recognize the voice of the school counselor in the television show, who sounds an awful lot like another of Hendrie’s most popular characters, Bobbie Dooley. As in the film, the animated television show follows the misadventures of an awkward high school teenager and his quirky friends as they struggle to navigate life in rural Idaho. “What great fortune to be working with another smart and funny show at Fox,” said Hendrie. “And the fact that I had the opportunity to work with many of the artists who created the film was also a first for me, and a great one.” Hendrie’s TRN syndicated radio show currently airs on a reported 100 stations nationwide. We opened the show with another Steve Bosell problem. His daughter's school called him on the carpet again, this time for hosting a Super Bowl Party with an "alleged rapist" performing on television (Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger) Steve was told by the kids, led by 11 year old Bradley, that he needed to shut his mouth when mentioning Roethlisberger's innocence and that instead of watching the game he was to leave the party, retire to the master bedroom and read a couple of books on feminism. Clara Bingham discussed a court ruling Monday that so-called "Obamacare" is unconstitutional. Ms Bingham had the kids in her middle school and elementary school write letters in protest to various elected officials, encouraging the kids to make up ailments they suffer from. "You know how good I am? I had a kid write that he suffers from leprosy and that Obamacare is needed for him. Otherwise off to the leper colony in Hawaii he goes." Ms. Bingham also told Phil without Obamacare she won't be able to shuttle seniors to their doctors appointments and they'll have to "walk or hitch-hike."

In our first hour, Don Micksa of the University of Washington tells us he came up with "Kick a Kristian" day after reading about "Kick a Jew" days at high schools around the country. The idea was to openly mock believers "since Jews are atheists." Don was discussing it with some students when he spotted a female student wearing a Christian cross around her neck. He said he walked up behind her and "kicked her in the butt right between the butt cheeks." Since Don was wearing sandals he feels the kick was very gentle although it was, in his words, "the closest thing to getting a handful you could could imagine even though you can't get a handful per se with your foot" Next up was Steve Bosell of Corona, Ca. complaining that MTV is liable in getting him to want to have sex with a 15 year old since they put the show "Skins" on featuring sexual activity and nudity among teens. Steve said that he realized that what he was watching was a show about teens, not adults. He also realized that he was interested in seeing whether or not the teens on the show were "available" against his own better judgement. Mr. Bosell concluded by describing an episode where a teen named Tony "is standing with his back to the camera and his pants are pulled down and he's taken Viagra so naturally you wondering all about it"

Starting things off was Don Micksa of the University of Washingon. With Great Neck, New York banning smoking on it's streets Professor Micksa said that the time had come for us to give our young people the truth about smoking...that the worlds most interesting people smoke. Like Winston Churchill. "Wouldn't you want to be as self-possessed and confident as Winston Churchill," asks Micksa. "Well then light up a cigar. Then Steve Bosell, who claims to have gotten lost in a "twilight zone" when he saw a toddler beauty pageant on TV, says he is oppossed to parading children like that but he also saw one child in a Madonna "conical brassiere" that made him curious. When his wife called for him from another part of the house he yelled back "something's come up." Well it isn't long before Steve is pegged as a perv and in need of immediate psychiatric evaluation. Steve ends the hour crying

First out of the gate tonight was Steve Bosell from Corona, California whose errant golf shot into a tract of homes caused friend Roy Hutchins to exclaim "Those poor, innocent people!" This remark, plus Mr. Hutchins subsequent mimicking of a little girl getting hit with a golf ball, messed with Mr. Bosell's mind. He blew the rest of the golf game and lost $500. After the match, he got drunk in the clubhouse and upon returning home, after being asked by his son how his game went, smacked his son. Bosell claimed the kid asked him the question "with a wink and a smile." Following that hour of joy we had Justin McElroy on. The high school junior wants to complete a Mass Media assignment by filming a riot at Walmart on Black Friday "because that's how Geraldo Rivera got his start although I'm not Puerto Rican." They had videoed so-called bum-fights until the school threatened them with suspension. Now, Justin and his pals plan on provokling the Walmart riot by pushing against people and putting up signs that say "crazy, dirty deals on Blu Ray players, $30! Plus they got plenty of that good, cheap Chinese stuff."
