"Best Of" on the Radio!

Thursday, April 28, 2011

First hour was Lloyd Bonafide talking to Phil about his days in Iowa when tornadoes used to be a regular occurance. Lloyd told Phil he'd stand in his backyard and tell any tonado coming his "You go straight to hell." One day he saw a tornado actually back up and get smaller. In our second hour it was Dr. Jim Sadler, a member of "Veterans at Heart" who was telling Phil that all of the chaplains in the military service remind him of God and thus would "constrain me from just slaughtering the enemy." Thats why he dodged the draft during Vietnam. Having so-called atheist chaplains would have given him a way "to forget there's a God so I could go out and kill, kill, kill...all the way to the end of time. I woulda loved to have used one of them flame throwers."

Bobbie and Steve Dooley talked with Phil about saving themselves a prime spot oline waiting to register their son Justin for a new, fancy kindergarten. The fact Steve has a facial scar from when Bobbie hit with hot dog tongs helped intimidate people too. Next came an alleged debate between Larry Grover, conservative and Dean Wheeler, liberal about Obama releasing his birth certificate finally. The debate never happened because Larry figured he was going to get his ass kicked by Dean since all the power was with the progressives on this one.

David Castorini from Castorini Youth Ministries announces he is working with the CDC in getting people to stop smoking everywhere by 2020. Of course he is doing it for the love of his fellow man....and market price on two pieces of property that have been eminent domained, a meet and greet with Obama and a stay in the Lincoln Bedroom... Vernon Doziers service station on Brand Blvd in Glendale is doing big business since the price of gas shot up. And no, thank you very much, he isn't lowering the price. Yes he feels the customers pain..but what about his pain raising a developmentally disabled brother to adulthood only to hear him go "ding ding" every time a car drives in and a father who said he wouldn't amount to a hill of Johnny Cat.

Brass Villenueva returned to restate his case that the Latino community getting 3.75 million for obesity education is a good thing because it helps Latinos ween themselves off of Anglosized food like guacamole with mayo. And it was Margaret Grey joing Phil in the second hour disgusted by the Orange County Republican committeewoman who circulated an e-mail with Obama's picture on a monkey's body. Margaret called the woman racist even as Margaret derided her as "an old, died up mummy whose degeneration is moral as well as physical."
