Phil brought on Herb Sewell to comment on the history of Halloween. Herb mentioned that as a child he didn't dress in costume for trick or treat. He dressed in a nice dress shirt with a tie but people didn't give him candy he'd hide in their cars till morning and scare them. Larry Grover told Phil he believes Obama manipulated the weather using some beam from outer space so he could get all the TV time after the storms hit...Larry's mother made fun of Larry after he said he liked the "teeny-weeny" snickers bars. "Yea, I'll be you do," she said... Dr. Jim Sadler discussed the difference between horror movies and movies that are scary but reality based. Among the films Dr. Sadler considers reality based (especially since a similar thing happened to his family when he was 10) "The Hills Have Eyes."

Margaret began singing an "ode to a friend who lost an eye in a pole vaulting accident." The song was "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet and the ode part was the line "He looked at me with a big brown eye..." Ted Bell called in to say that when he heard the "big brown eye" line he had to turn the radio off because he was driving with his son...Of course this offended Margaret... Frank Grey joined the show to discuss with Brad Rivkind the idea of a restaurant serving leftovers. "If you have booths that have curtains on them you can eat the leftovers right out of your wife's......." Phil ended the call there which puzzled Brad...

Phil, Bud, Robert and Margaret started in by talking about the weather back east...Phil also, somehow, tied in New York's Mad Bomber from the 40's and 50's... Art Griego called the show to discuss the HMS Bounty being storm tossed but also talked about a friend of his killed by a grizzly in Alaska. When Art flew his bush plane in to pick up his friend he saw the bear that killed him....wearing his hat.... Frank Grey talked about monitoring the show to see if anyone "belches or anything like that".
