“Bud knew the Union won. He just didn’t know whether the Union ‘was the North or the South.'” Show Log For Wednesday October 3, 2012

Phil talked about tonights debate with Bobbie Dooley who was more concerned with the fact Obama and Romney appeared to be standing in the same place on the stage when seen from the front or back on TV…but were looking in opposite directions when addressing Jim Lehrer, the moderator…..

A caller, Charlie, debated Karen Deauville’s brother Jerry on the topic of who would make a better president. Jerry was more interested in the fact there was still a Malibu Gran Prix open near him…

Also General Gaylen Shaw and Jeff Dowdder called in. Jeff wanted to straighten Bud out on who won the Civil war. It wasn’t that Bud didn’t know the Union won. He just didn’t know whether the Union ‘was the North or the South.’ And when it came time for the South to ‘get it’s ass kicked for killing Lincoln, did they come North or did we go there?’

John Wilkes booth or “Jack Boo”?

Later Frank Grey, Margaret’s husband who suffers from “gender confusion”, called in to sing as well, this one a tribute to Margaret called ‘He’s a Lady.'” Show Log For Tuesday October 2, 2012

Margaret Grey opened the show seemingly to interview noted Republican Party spokesperson Miles Gordon. But around half way through she broke into a karaoke version of “We Are The Champions” to express her triumphant sense that the Democrats will bury the Republicans in November’s Presidential election… Later Frank Grey, Margarets husband who suffers from “gender confusion”, called in to sing as well, this one a tribute to Margaret called “He’s a Lady.” Tom Jones sang ‘She’s a Lady.”

Vernon Dozier was on to comment on the baseball post-season and give his opinion as to why teams close the locker room to reporters when they are celebrating making the playoffs. Vernon believes that its a very emotional moment for the players and should be very private especially since many of them are “disrobing” to get ino the shower.

“All four discuss the Lions games earlier where Jack Eigagder dropped producer Earl Cooch with two quick right hands when Cooch came out of his producer booth…” Show Log For Monday October 1, 2012

Phil talks about a variety of things in and out of the news..his new one man show, his brother and his dad, his experiences riding ferries, in submarines and the like…his first love, a girl named Julie and the big high school junior that stole her. And then he talks about how the 1966 Baltimore Orioles didn’t make any of it better…Jack Eigagder shoots a punch at Lions producer Earl Cooch during Monday’s game in Miami

Meanwhile Margaret gets huffy, threatening to beat down everyone in the studio and walks off the show twice only to return. “The Gulabi gang ……..

“The Gulabi gang ……..

“The Gulabi gang (from Hindi gulabi, “pink”, transln. “pink gang”) is a group of women vigilantes and activists originally from Banda in Bundelkhand district, Uttar Pradesh, India, but reported to be active across North India as of 2010. It is named after the pink saris worn by its members. The gang was founded in 2006 by Sampat Pal Devi, a mother of five and former govenment health worker (and a former child bride), as a response to widespread domestic abuse and other violence against women. Gulabis visit abusive husbands and beat them up with laathis (bamboo sticks) unless they stop abusing their wives. In 2008, they stormed an electricity office in Banda district and forced officials to turn back the power they had cut in order to extract bribes. They have also stopped child marriages and protested dowry and female illiteracy.” Click for YouTube story
