The first really bad news I remember was…..

…..probably Kennedy getting assassinated. I mean, really bad. The next was the 6 day war, Israel against the Arabs, then King, then Robert Kennedy…then news of the Zodiac killer…then Russia invading Czechoslovakia. then the Manson murders…The next was probably the India-Pakistan dust up I believe in ’71….followed by the Yom Kippur war…Then came the Munich Olympics…Then I think it was quiet for awhile because I was suddenly used to a lot of weird, strange shit…the SLA shoot-out was big but not necessarily “bad.” Then came Jonestown, which was uber-fucking-strange and Harvey Milk getting murdered….I can’t go on because it’s getting tougher and more pointless.
