Chicken Shack bit from early 2002? I’ve been trying to find this bit forever, but I can’t even find a flashback of it in the archives. The one where David sends you down to the street in a chicken suit to hand out coupons. Any chance of adding it as a David Hall character bit or something?
I was trying to explain a bit to my brother, who is a huge Phil Hendrie fan, but I couldn’t find it. The bit was with Loyd Bonifide carving out the teeth of a dummy with a bayonet at a Saturday market or something like that. If you remember, could you point me in the right direction of the year and month. If you can’t, that’s cool. Thanks Chris
Can you explain to us why there are almost no white cornerbacks in the NFL? I think it has something to do the white East German sprinters of the 1960s right? I just can’t remember.
Phil: There was John Lynch and Jason Sehorn but they were safetys. The whites are slow.
“Just got back after spending a couple of months in China. I downloaded about 2 months worth of shows before I left because I wasn’t sure I would have internet access there. As it turned out the internet access was pretty spotty, so I downloaded new episodes whenever I could, but I was very grateful for having the ability to save shows to my itouch when I couldn’t get on. Most of the time you were about my only source of entertainment, except for this one TV show that was pretty much like Jerry Springer except in Chinese. I’m not sure where they get the trailer trash, since they don’t have trailers, but somehow they managed to capture the essence of the program. Anyway, thanks for keeping me sane while I was there and please don’t ever retire again.”
Jonathan found a link to this gar-‘bage. Hand made movie posters created in the 1980’s in Ghana by traveling cinema operators..guys that went town to town with VCR’s and video projection machines and show movies to the villagers. It don’t get much funkier than this:
