Ferguson, Ebola and ISIS were “on tap” today with the panel. Special guests were Jay Santos, Dave Oliva, and Dean Wheeler as well as Frank Grey, who was supposed to be talking about the legal aspects of Ferguson, but couldn’t get to it, again, because of his gender confusion. Bud, Robert and Margaret cued up a bugle blowing the cavalry call to mock General Shaw… Other weirdnessity….

Episode #189: The New Phil Hendrie Show

The crew talked about the latest fad phrase “What he said.” Phil said he got to the point of wanting to stick a spear in anyone saying “Just sayin.'” Discussed also was the horrid news from the Middle East and Ferguson which somehow led to an analysis of baby food, “pablums”, and other things a terrorist’s head might look like after taking a baseball bat to it. Guesting was Professor Emory Clayton on Ferguson and Bobbie Dooley on her Dr. Drew interview. Jerry Markham, the mimbling lawyer from Austin has been rescheduled.

Episode #186: The New Phil Hendrie Show

Bobbie Dooley and her husband Steve had to scramble and do some image repair after they bought into the whole “KFC Throws Scarred Child Out Of Restaurant” story and led protests against KFC only to find out the whole thing was a hoax. Steve Dooley mentioned having to smoke medical marijuana because he gets “sweat itch” from his well-muscled thigh brushes against his testicles and Mr. Dooley said his “hang pretty low.” General Shaw went into a whole description of how to kill a pit bull with your bare hands. Not to be missed. Then it was “On The Water” or “Out In The Wild Blue” (the guys couldn’t remember) hosted by Bill Hassinger and Kip Pernell. Dr. Ed Elcott joined the show to talk to Father Guy Jack Rabinowitz, a member of the Elcott clergy, about the Diminishing, that which shrinks or shrivels the ego and Hop Singh, the Elcott method of prayer which, respectfully, treats God like a 19th century Chinese “houseboy.” Frank Grey was eating breakfast at Mrs Olsen’s and talking to Phil about a new soap opera he’s producing called “The Dull and the Dry” about a post-menopausal community of seniors.

Episode #184: The New Phil Hendrie Show

Phil is taking a quick trip up to America’s hat (Canada), so we’ve cut together some “Best Of” clips for you to enjoy. The show started with the panel discussing the death penalty. Bill Cumming, or Brad Cummings (it changed within a few minutes), a friend of Margaret’s and an ally of hers in her fight against the death penalty, runs into a problem with his last name because he is also a producer of adult films and his kids school wants to kick them out. When Phil mentions the problem with his kids, Bill (or Brad) has a full emotional break down including tears, sobs, snot and rage….and then of course hung up… Jeff Dowdder was at Cratered Park in either Nebraska or Texas riding the roller coaster Doom Hurdle. He sounded like he was going to die but afterward said it was just “okay.” Don Parsley, the career conman who’s been caught up in some of the most bizarre swindles in American history guested this morning with a tale of kindness to a stranger gone all wrong. The crew had been discussing the story of toys being taken from the grave-site of an infant and Don mentioned being involved in taking a car that had been the property of a heart attack victim. Parsley said there’s a saying, “steal a car from a fat man and live seven years,” and he was going on that although everyone was confused as to what that meant; live only seven years or live seven more years… And Bobbie closes the show discussing her annual Springtacular.
