I use a site called Calorie King for Food Awareness. They do have an app. I only use them for calorie counts in various foods. Then I use a site called freedieting.com for activities and the calories they burn. You’ll need it to know how to burn up some calories if you go over.
Here are the foods that I find are low in calories but can fill me up in a pinch. Eat them however you want whenever you want. Orville Redenbacher 94% fat free popcorn.. 100 calories a bag. Bananas, about 120 calories each and strawberries, 6 calories each, make a good shake with the whey protein powder, 110 cal. a scoop. Get the plain protein powder, not the flavored shit.
Extra Lean turkey bacon is great, 20 calories a slice. Get Natures Own bread, there’s a wheat loaf that’s 50 calories a slice so that’s good for sandwiches. Eat romaine lettuce, either that pre-chopped in a bag or the heads of romaine lettuce. I eat that with any 0 calorie vinegar (not balsamic) and 1 tablespoon of olive oil and garlic salt. The deal is though that oil is high in calories so no more than a tablespoon. Quaker rice cakes are 50 calories per. I love those so much though that I ate like 3 bags at one sitting once. 14 cakes per bag, 50 calories per cake, 700 fucking calories before I realized what I was doing.
I really recommend the Progresso High Fiber soups. I like the minestrone. It’s like 237 calories for a whole can which is great. Use Smart Balance mayo and margarine, if you need to use either, and watch the calories with those. 1 tablespoon of Smart Balance margarine spread is 80 calories so don’t over do it. Always check out the calorie content of any food.
Your body’s gonna go through changes. You’ll lose weight, don’t worry. But you’ll lose the weight at varying rates..you’ll start out dropping 4 pounds a week and it’ll slow. Don’t worry, it’ll pick back up. One thing I’m pleasantly surprised about is the fact I’m only eating now 1500 to 1700. calories a day because my body’s getting message it’s going to have to do what’s it’s done on fewer calories
Coffee is fine but not Starbucks. Sorry but Starbucks packs 380 calories or more into some of their coffee drinks so fuck that.
After awhile, a couple of weeks, get out and move your ass for a half hour 3 times a week. Use that activity calculator. If you want more than 2000 calories to eat you’ll need to head out and burn some up. Example: Walking at the pace of walking a dog for 60 minutes takes care of 400 calories. 400 is a good meal.
This is a diet that simply means you count calories. And as a result the weight will come off like a son of a bitch. But you gotta just stay with it and make smart choices.
