The TRN Saga…

Sept 13, 2013….From our sources comes news that Mark Masters has reached out on consecutive nights to an individual he had fired last December. He needs to replace John McCaslin, the America’s Morning News Anchor who walked off the job this week because of substandard conditions. Because Masters has been receiving a negative response the job’ of securing the once and maybe future anchor has been handed to Marcello Corona, one of only a few TRN executives still on the job. The former anchor in question has stopped answering his phone

Analysis: Masters claiming dependence on eventual relief from a favorable court ruling in his action against Dial Global/Westwood is disingenuous. From the start this has been a face saving ploy, nothing more. In fact, Masters utter refusal to take any personal responsibility for the failure of his business is stunning.

Raj’s son Todd was angry at his dad for taking him to a rotten American football game

Vernon Dozier and Raj Feneen debated not just Syria but ‘the way of the camel’ versus ‘the way of International Harvester…’ Meanwhile Raj claims his son Todd wept and bitterly complained that he was put through something horrible by seeing the Chargers get waxed at home against Houston last week

Lloyd Bonafide talked with Phil about a camping/fishing trip he was on in the Angeles National Forest that ended with him single-handedly putting out a growing brush fire started by Lloyd and his friends smoking weed and flipping the roaches into the dry grass….Jay Santos called later to tell Phil and Lloyd that the area where the fire had been was gradually “repopulating” with wildlife…not naturally but because Jay bought some squirrels and was now transporting them there…

Phil interviewed for Media Bistro

Having just celebrated his 61st birthday at the beginning of September, Phil Hendrie is acting more like a 20-something entrepreneur these days. He’s knee-deep in relaunching The Phil Hendrie Show as a “cartoon” and growing the subscriber base for his recently fully upgraded website philhendrieshow.com.

All on the heels of six years with a syndication service that, by Hendrie’s own admission, did a terrible job of marketing his program. Now, together with a small crew and group of fictitious on-air cohorts, he’s intent on reclaiming his place in terrestrial radio.

As a result, Hendrie has tabled for the moment his pursuit of on-camera acting and voice-over work that had him popping up in 2012 in everything from New Girl to the animated version of Napoleon Dynamite. He’s now on the producer side, getting ready to pitch an animated project developed with a TV series veteran. Click here and read the rest!!

                                                            Bob Jr.

Justin McElroy, high school senior, talked with Phil about the “Golden Ratio” or “Triangle,” a series of measurements into which the human face must fit in order for it to be considered traditionally handsome or attractive. Justin and his classmates took it a step further, drawing the triangle on the crotch and bottom of some girls pants and then having the girls seat themselves….in order to see if the guys faces fiit…

Bob Green came on the show to talk about Facebook and the disservice its doing its users by not demanding people use actual pictures of themselves for their profile pics and not dogs or pics of elf queens… When a girl suggested to Bob he send a picture of his penis to her, he said “Okay, standby for Bob Jr,” and texted a photograph of money.

Tonight on the anniversary of 9/11 Jay Santos, a member of 9/11 Truth, stumbled his way through history. Don Berman talked to Phil about his new reality show “Being Don.” Larry Grover and Jack Armstrong had a hard time keeping a lid on their respective emotions as Phil questioned them on Obama and Putin and the Syria topic…

Phil had more roundabout TRN gossip including news that an ex-anchor who was fired from the all -news format was called tonight and offered a job back with the company. He turned it down since he heard people are not getting paid there…

Its tough to feel good about someone getting their ass kicked in like that…no matter how dumb they are…
