Wal-Mart…a great place to meet singles…

Phil had Don Berman on the line from Los Alamitos Race Track where Don was spendiong the evening after being suspended by Channel 19 for saying the only women you could “pick up” at Wal-Mart were fat women with 10 kids…and he used his co-anchor Beckie Blondell as an example of one. While Don railed against the injustice of it all, he slowly got drunk and lost every race he bet, at one point calling for the rendering into glue of every horse he put money on….

Jay Santos joined Reverand Dave Castorini later in the show to tell Phil he was behaving inappropriately by “reaching down into his jean” (singular) on PhilTV during breaks and looking as if he was “handling heavy equipmnt or laying giant sewer pipes.””

Margaret gave another ridiculous lesson in foriegn language, this time Portuguese, or as she called it “Portu-guay.”

Was Jesus born in something like this?

Phil and the gang talked with Art Griego about a new History channel series “The Bible.” Art had no idea there was torture involved and thats put him off converting to Christianity. Plus, Dave “Baby” Watkins, the actor playing the Christ child, was most likely exposed to dangerous working conditions shooting his scene in a stable…

Other stuff that, at present because of the Unisom Phil dropped last night, he can’t remember…

                       What price a Ted?

Tonight Phil talked with Ted Bell about football salary caps and a female kicker trying out with the New York Jets. But Ted’s real topic of discussion was concerning how he was not being taken seriously as a sports reporter. When conversation swung around to how much a Ted cost at his restaurant, Ted blurted out “When Seth McFarland used to sell his ass down on Wilshire for the price of a Ted, his ass was worth exactly $9.95.”

Bobbie Dooley discussed Joan Rivers controversial joke about the Holocaust and Hiedi Klums dress. Bobbie said that she and Steve used to be insensitive to the Holocaust as well “until we tried eating that box lunch on the way to Oktoberfest and suddenly  felt ill.”

Bunch of other baloney
