Guest Austin attorney, Jerry Markham, who recently had surgery on his tongue, joined the show to discuss Rick Perry’s plight in Texas. Larry Grover was also on to talk with the panel about Ferguson but got sidetracked by seeing a priest on TV that “looked like Stephen Colbert.” That was followed by Margaret carving up “Reach Out And Touch Somebody’s Hand.”

Episode #189: The New Phil Hendrie Show

The crew talked about the latest fad phrase “What he said.” Phil said he got to the point of wanting to stick a spear in anyone saying “Just sayin.'” Discussed also was the horrid news from the Middle East and Ferguson which somehow led to an analysis of baby food, “pablums”, and other things a terrorist’s head might look like after taking a baseball bat to it. Guesting was Professor Emory Clayton on Ferguson and Bobbie Dooley on her Dr. Drew interview. Jerry Markham, the mimbling lawyer from Austin has been rescheduled.

Episode #190: The New Phil Hendrie Show

Ferguson, Ebola and ISIS were “on tap” today with the panel. Special guests were Jay Santos, Dave Oliva, and Dean Wheeler as well as Frank Grey, who was supposed to be talking about the legal aspects of Ferguson, but couldn’t get to it, again, because of his gender confusion. Bud, Robert and Margaret cued up a bugle blowing the cavalry call to mock General Shaw… Other weirdnessity….

Episode #192: The New Phil Hendrie Show

Phil is celebrating his birthday weekend, so we’ve cut up a “Best Of” show for your enjoyment today. But don’t despair, because we’re wrapping up today’s episode with a brand new Bobbie celebrity interview! This time Bobbie sits down with Dr. Drew Pinsky for part one of her three part interview. Margaret Grey opened the show and really carved it a new ass trying to add lyrics to the theme from “28 Days Later” as she practiced for the One-Man Show July 30th at the Hollywood Improv. Then, Phil talks to Vernon Dozier about a student disciplined because of an offensive song the kid was playing in his car. And Ted Bell got his feelings hurt when Phil seemingly named Morton’s as his favorite steakhouse. Dean Wheeler joined the program as he was soaking in a “re-nutritioning” bath. Dean mentioned his religion, “The Wonderful World of Cong,” and its rivalry with “Elcott-The Next Step” and that both will be celebrating the Autumn Solstice in the same area, “Elcott” at the Mill Valley Holiday Inn and “Cong” at the Convention Center. The episode closes with the first part of Bobbie’s interview with Dr. Drew.

Episode #193: The New Phil Hendrie Show

Phil kicked the show off by saying Wiz Khalifa couldn’t smoke near as much dope as he claims he does otherwise he wouldn’t get any work done. Dope is fine but it can make you stupid. “Many of our fine, young hip-hop artists want the weed legalized even though they don’t smoke near the amount they claim because that shit is “stupid-making.” Phil also discussed the fine documentary “Nixon on Nixon” currently airing on HBO. Margaret was “shocked” to hear Nixon say the word “(mumbled) kike.” The crew also reviewed the Emmy’s with Jeff Dowdder and a befuddled and tired Doug Dannger. Seth Meyer laid an egg out there according to Phil and it was the fault, in his opinion, of an NBC executive at the top in order to promote the hell out of Meyers’ late night show. Who is the NBC CEO? The crew didn’t know until Margaret identified him as Bob Gardoon. Or Bob Gadoon.

Episode #195: The New Phil Hendrie Show

Rudy Canosa and Margaret Grey discussed the need for the female Fox news anchors to slap each other across the face on a regular basis “because of their ego-cen-TRICITY.” Margaret had a particular problem with “the blond wearing the doctor’s smock” and “that Kirsten Powers with the space between the teeth” on the morning Fox news. “They need the face slapped and slapped hard.” General Shaw slapped his own face because he felt bad about making a crack concerning a missing American student in the Middle East. He then went on to mourn the legacy of Lawrence of Arabia and that fact that he worked for so much and now “the whole things turned to shit again.”

Phil is in meetings all day, so we’ve cut together another “Best Of” for your enjoyment! Jay Santos kicked off the show by talking to Phil about Citizens Auxiliary Police techniques in apprehending a suspect, including one called the “down low” that involves faking the suspect out with punching the air and pretending to kick him in the balls… Ted Bell talks about a wine tasting event he’s having at Ted’s of Beverly Hills as Rudy Canosa helps out tending bar and giving the tongue-wag to women at the event… Steven Bosell of Corona, CA talked about the incident at the beach that saw a wad of mayo hit his chin and his wife’s rude response. David G. Hall talks to Phil about a new sponsor, Toodle-oo, which is an app that lets people…other people…know where you are. Also the word “gesticulate” is put into Margaret’s filth file. David through it all is making oatmeal for about 15 nephews and nieces… Dr. Ed Elcott closes the podcast this morning, and is joined by Elcott South, Chaffey Burger, who talks about CandlePower, a manifestation of one of the four Elcott Miracles, X-Ray vision.
