Jay Leno is a fan of Phil Hendrie and he called in to Hendrie’s 7-10 p.m. Saturday show on KFI/640 AM on Dec. 4 to talk about rail service – and that so-called “train to nowhere.”But first, Leno played along with Hendrie and said he likes the fictional character Ted Bell, owner of Ted’s of Beverly Hills Steak House. Leno said, “I went by his place (Ted’s) and everything you said about him was correct.” Hendrie said, “I hope he hasn’t had occasion to rough you up and throw you out of the Prime Rib Room as he did with Brad Pitt one night.”
