I’ve seen a lot of your complaints in previous shows comment section Steven and I’d have to disagree with you. I think for the amount of money I’ve dropped on the Phil Hendrie show over the years I get tremendous value from it. I know you had mentioned previously that you liked the old call-in shows which I originally thought I did too.. But this new show is (IMO) way, WAY better. However, everyone is going to have their own opinion and taste. Now frankly, 10 bucks a month or 5 bucks (audio only) is NOT that much for the ability to have the archives availability. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t get some sort of value out of my PHS BSP. I went a couple months without one once in last few years and I was completely lost! Now I just think rather than complaining just cancel your membership if you don’t like what you are getting. Phil is at the point in his life and career that he is going to what HE wants to do not what everyone else thinks he should do. And that is yet another reason I have NO problem with slightly shorter shows or variations or experimental ideas. Phil has brought me countless years of entertainment and it DOES matter to me that he is doing what he wants to do. In turn if Phil being happy isn’t enough for you then perhaps the simple reality that a happy Phil = a happier BSP holder! Based on all of your previous comments my suggestion to you Steven is to go find a different show that brings you fulfillment or drop your membership down to Audio only so you can keep listening to archives.

I know some of the sycophants are going to disagree, but my arithmetic says that an average of 2.5 hours of new programming a week comes to about 10 hours a month, or a dollar an hour for someone paying close to $10 a month — this including the really mediocre episodes where Phil doesn’t do much more than phart and squeeze his nuts for another go at Margaret’s caterwauling.
I’m an old subscriber at a lower rate, but, you know, THAT’S JACKED UP!
