Baby steps, people. The comparisons to Adolph may not be so far off the mark. The Night of the Long Knives may be just around the corner. Remember that on November 8th.
I feel the urge to point out how incredibly uninformed it is to think that the Trump administration is fascist, or echoes of Nazi Germany. If this were a fascist regime, one could not so freely say so in a public forum such as this, as several have, without fear of repercussions. In fact, Hitler got rid of the free press…but kept press that was favorable to him and his agenda. So if you’re considering whether a government is fascist, look to see who the media support. Certainly the MSM is no fan of President Trump.
By the way, much of the brainwashing of Germans was done through media propaganda.

Mother just got here. Larry and I were discussing how we need a safe space. If we hear the “T” trigger word one more time we are going to have another nervous breakdown. Larry started crying first. Read “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”, and you’ll discover an incredible similarity between Germany in the early to mid 30’s, and the current situation in the US. Sorry, but facts can be very bothersome.

Great point. Thank God there’s nothing to indicate criminal intentions by trump’s financial history or anything sinister in the GOP side of the isle. I envy the simplicity it requires to view the world in solid absolutes and purely black and white scenarios. Be thankful for the luxury of being simple.
I try to be simple Jason. In the words of Lynyrd Skynyrd , “Be a simple kind of man , be something you will love and understand”. The sun is setting and casting beautiful shadows on the mountains. I have some mesquite briquettes and marinated chicken. Coors and red wine. A soul mate that I started dating and partying with when we were 16. We got married when when we were twenty two. She does the best she can to understand me. She voted for Omaha and hates Rush Limbaugh. Does not get Phil’s slapstick humor that I laugh at so hard tears are rolling down my cheeks. Also thinks he sounds just like Rush when he rants and asks me to take it into another room. I pay $9.95 a month for relief from reality, if only for a brief moment. I stopped listening to the pre-show rants. Now the “comedy skits ” are not that funny.

Go back and listen to some of Phil’s epic rants about the radio business. “The suits destroyed radio! They replaced all the talent with old white men talking politics! There’s no more creativity in radio, it’s just politics! The suits did it!”
So now suit-wearing Phil has turned his own show into just another old white guy ranting about politics. Funny or creative? Not much.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Phil has shown great restraint, too much in my opinion, in going after tRump. First, the show is hilarious. Second, it’s important for all who understand the dire state in which we find ourselves to speak out, just as should have happened in Germany in the 30’s. For Phil, tRump is low hanging fruit . . . too low. It’s too easy. I believe this is the main reason he’s avoided speaking out all that much so far.
Can somebody pleas help me get the show, I paid the 79.99 today.

There’s a tribe in the Brazilian rain forest where they still wear a horn-shaped gourd over their genitals and they believe bulldozers are living creatures sent to punish them. I think they’re Trump free in an indirect kind of way. Not sure how entertaining they are, though.
He’s a doddering, incompetent, clown on the biggest stage currently possible; maybe for now you could just listen to the archives ?
