Phil and Ted Bell talk about the Morton's Steakhouse in Nashville that ran afoul of social media this past weekend by asking a cancer patient to take off a wool cap he was wearing for warmth. Ted said he wouldn't have done that necessarily, taking everything on a case by case basis. If the guys wool cap and his not having any eyebrows really bothered people then, yes, he'd have to ask the guy to leave....

Margaret demonstrated improvising the lyrics to Christmas songs since "no one cares about the lyrics anyway." For the song "Sleigh Ride" Margaret had the line "there's a body over there in the snow." "No one hears the words, Phil. Relax."

Phil talked with the panel about the passing of Joan Fontaine, Tom Laughlin and Peter O'Toole. A caller, Gip Cummings, a former marketing guy for the studios, said that Laughlin's innovative techniques were so good they caused two of Gip's colleagues to go home and hang themselves. But "it did sort of thin out the competition and gave me a chance at some real open field running."
