Ep. 90

Thursday, October 17, 2013

Tonight Dr. Ron Tarner attempted to explain the significance of an archeological discovery...a 2 million year old skull possibly belonging to a hominid closely related to the human being... Bud however found the term 'homo" real funny and Tarner was distracted by the fact he couldn't get a bus or taxi to stop for him. He chalked that up to his standing there with a black colleague, Dr. Steve Peabody. When Peabody walks off to catch his own taxi, it turns out Don's the one that they weren't stopping for... Vernon Dozier, Curt Queedy and Guy Barton discussed and debated the Saturday Night Massacre, an event that took place 40 years ago on this date in which two members of the Justice department quit rather than carry out what they thought was an illegal order given them by President Nixon. Dozier thought the Congress' intrusion on the President was just like Malcom McDowell and his gang invading the writers home in "Clockwork Orange" with their big noses, derby hats and storm trooper boots.

Ep. 86

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

Steve Bosell is filing a class action lawsuit against talk radio for "fomenting violence, ill will and a threat to pubic safety" although Steve didn't know the term "class action" and instead wanted to file " a big ol' hanging, fat lawsuit." And THAT offended his attorney, the very fat Dolores Blasingame until she figured out what he was saying. Don Micksa, engineering professor at the University of Washington, discussed "The Walking Dead" and its success. Don's air force experience came into play when he kept bringing up having "a zombie coming at you at one o'clock." And lots of other foolishness....

Ep. 82

Friday, October 11, 2013

Tonights show featured the commentary of Bobbie Dooley and a trip to wine country....that never took place. Also, Phil's laughter at the idea of Bobbie getting excited when she sees her husband Steve in mariachi pants sends things even further into the toilet. Margaret admits the first time she saw Frank in flamenco dancer pants she got hot... (Frank was wearing them because a fire destroyed most of his wardrobe...) Margaret and Phil get into a convoluted discussion about Franks' gender confusion and how Margaret finally figured out Frank thinks God is a lesbian.
