Dr. Emory Clayton at his best.
I was so happy to hear my favorite character on the show, if only briefly–RC Collins. Unfortunately, he is hardly ever heard from recently. My very favorite show of all time was aired on Friday July 13, 2012 (hr 2). RC and his friend Watson, who can write only with a crayon) are calling from a pay phone (since only sissy’s have cell phones) in the canteen of a military academy. And and Watson keeps demanding tater tots, even though the canteen is closed. I must’ve listened to this bit about 10 times; it’s hilarious. And after I’d laughed my head of listening to it for the first time, I became a BSP member and a avid Phil Hendrie fan. I’ve looked for other RC bits in the Character section, but it ends in the early 2000s, when RC is still a goth and sacrificing fried chickens. Please Phil, could we have more RC and Watson???!!!
Good show today. Margaret Grey’s on the street interviews were funny.
I thought the Thumbsuckers Hip Hop/R&B stars satire was done well. Margaret’s remarks at the end of the bit such as; when these stars go home at night, – and send the servants home – and; -we’re being fed hokum & baloney- was a great perspective when addressing the; My Life the Rough Life, lyric’s from these HH/R&B stars.
Margaret did a man on the street? Oh. My. God!
