The Beverly Hills Hotel is the object of protests this week because the ownership is from the country of Brunei and Brunei is a country rife with human rights abuses. This is “Margaret’s turf” as she likes to say…Bud and Robert think Sharia Law is a “joke law.” General Shaw goes against the panel on this one, having met the Sultan of Brunei, calling him a “good conversationalist. We went to Brunei and whoever the guy was with the bed sheet, the Sultan, showed us around.”

Phil talks about economic boycotts and the definition of news. Margaret takes exception to the idea that Phil has a definition of news since she works in the news business, not him and she should have a definition of news…which she unfortunately doesn’t.

Dean Wheeler joined the show along with Dr. Paul Cutlet to discuss the climate change urgency. Wheeler was having a heart attack over the whole issue while Dr. Cutlet, riding in his sedan, hit a bridge abutment…
