Great show today! Thank you for reminding us, in the pre-show, about the origin of Armistice Day, as it’s still called in England. My father, who had served in WWII as a rear bomber, marched in the parade of RAF veterans every Armistice Day, but he always reminded us of those who had fallen or been injured in the Great War, including our relatives. I also remember that we all wore “poppies” in memory of in those who had fallen at Flanders, a custom that continues to this day.
