It was Jim "Happy" Fine joining the show in the first hour to discuss California's Salton Sea and complaints of an "odor" coming of of it lately because of dead fish. Mr. Fine went on to recount the tale of a "Lake Thing" or some type of creature that "consumed" his friend Dave Dickson, a man that "gave himself over" to the thing as a suicidal act of environmental support...

Jay Santos of the Citizens Auxiliary Police joined the show to tell how he tried to keep people from scooping up money thrown into the steets of LA today by bank robbers....

Warren Benmen called the show to take exception to Phil saying Florida as a state smells as bad any other. Warren said Phil was taking a pot shot but was barely understandable given his brain injury from falling off a broadcast tower.
