Phil launched into another scathing critique of the radio industry only to have Margaret tell him to cool it lest he "wind up like Howard Beal," the character in the film 'Network' that got shot at the end of a TV newscast for bad ratings. Only Margaret thinks Phil will be offed by industry executives who try and make it look like a crazed listener did it.

Phil talked at length about the Muslim community in France being upset with more satirical cartoon renderings of the Prophet Mohammed. Margaret interjected again about Phil's life not being worth a plug nickel if he starts getting into the middle of this "Slam thing." She then told Phil she loved France and as proof sang the French national anthem making up her own words, "a Grey family tradition." One of the lines had to do with the Hunchback of Notre Dame and French bread.
