Ep. 418

Robert Green from Frazier Foods came on to yet again defend Donald Sterling, who has backed out of a proposed 1 billion dollar sale of the Clippers to Steve Ballmer. Bob was also hosting a coffee at his Anaheim Hills home to show off an F-15 fighter jet he's purchased for business travel...just himself and his pilot. As the jet flies over Bob points out the lettering on the side: "The Bob Green Bat Out Of Hell Express." Phil complained about iTunes classification of music and proffered the opinion that iTunes wouldn't know music even if Steve Jobs came back from the dead and Phil held a loaded shot gun to his "testiculars." General Shaw shared that once he joined the military he renounced his belief in God so he could become a "ravaging, pillaging, blood-lusting killer." That lasted a day and he then went back to his belief in God. That prompted an argument with Robert about paganism and witchcraft...Phil then talked about the movie "Black Robe" that had a little person who was an Indian shaman priest... A scheduled debate between Larry Grover representing Newt Gingrich and Bob Green representing Mitt Romney never really gets off the ground as Larry concedes almost from the start that Newts kooky "moon colony" idea probably killed his campaign. Larry worried that now people thought Gingrich belonged in a rubber room and Bob agreed with him.  Eventually they debated Arizona Governor Jan Brewer putting her finger in Obama's face in Phoenix with both Larry and Bob agreeing that Obama, in that situation, would have the right to slap or roundhouse kick her.

Bob Green and the other "Road Angels" take off for another "run."   Doug Dannger and Margaret Grey reviewed "The Fifth Estate" starring Benedict Cumberpatch as Julian Assange, the Wikileaks man. Both of them said that the film may be hurt by the fact there's an actor in it who has the name of a giant rabbit. Dannger also claimed that Cumberpatch said in an interview he'd have a massive job trying to "butch up" Assange's image... Bob Green. David G. Hall and a caller named Gene from Bakersfield talked about a story out of New York concerning a group of motorcyclists that went after the driver of an SUV who appeared to have hit one of the them. Bob said he rides on weekends with three accountants and an attorney and they call themselves the "Road Angels." Green basically said that if you mess with them they'll be forced to "make a statement." Gene, a member of a central California club, said he thought Bob's group should call themselves the "Road Apples" instead.

The following hour Dr. Ron Tarner takes Stepehn Hawking to task....again....by pointing up the hypocrisy of the man saying God didn't create the universe but still hosting TV specials. Bob Green of Frazier Foods talked with Phil about the pressure he and other businessmen are under with this recession. The only way for him to let off a little steam and feel like he was makinjg a political statment was to tear up peoples food stamps when they came in the store or pretend to wipe his arm pits with them. Additionally, during the interview, some employee of Bob's put his lap-top in the microwave by mistake and blew it to pieces. Steve Bosell has been disgusted by the Warren Jeffs, FLDS cult controversy and the fact there is now an audio tape of Jeffs having sex with an underage girl.
