“Farmer John, I’m in love with your daughter”

He wanted to, he said, warn Phil about calling himself the “comedy farmer” (which had been discussed) lest people think of the old song “Farmer John” by the Premiers. The song tells of a young man in love with the farmers daughter and Art was worried people would simply think of some guy putting it to a chick on top of a pile of wheat that would eventually be made into a breakfast cereal. Pretty disgusting, said Art.
