Uncensored Pre-Show: Life After Fred Thompson

Another one of Phil's uncensored pre-show rants!

Monday, January 31, 2011

We opened the show with another Steve Bosell problem. His daughter's school called him on the carpet again, this time for hosting a Super Bowl Party with an "alleged rapist" performing on television (Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger) Steve was told by the kids, led by 11 year old Bradley, that he needed to shut his mouth when mentioning Roethlisberger's innocence and that instead of watching the game he was to leave the party, retire to the master bedroom and read a couple of books on feminism. Clara Bingham discussed a court ruling Monday that so-called "Obamacare" is unconstitutional. Ms Bingham had the kids in her middle school and elementary school write letters in protest to various elected officials, encouraging the kids to make up ailments they suffer from. "You know how good I am? I had a kid write that he suffers from leprosy and that Obamacare is needed for him. Otherwise off to the leper colony in Hawaii he goes." Ms. Bingham also told Phil without Obamacare she won't be able to shuttle seniors to their doctors appointments and they'll have to "walk or hitch-hike."

Jack Armstrong, liberal pundit, blogger, part-time TV talking head, etc, etc. was telling Phil he thinks people claiming residence in a school district illegally just to get their kids into that district are elitist and racist, looking to get their kids away from the "darkies." However, Jack will be doing the same thing next year. The difference, however, is that people might see Jack on TV and wonder why his kids go to a "toilet" school.  Plus, there are too many "tweakers" where his kids attend. Next hour Bob Green, CEO of Frazier Foods, agrees with a new proposed law limiting illegal immigrants and their "anchor babies" but he still has a few "Welcome To America" guides for illegal immigrants to sell.  Once that's done, he's all in..... Why limit free speech??

Starting the show tonight was Larry Grover who proclaimed that conservatives, his group of people, have to grow a pair. They have to tell the American people the truth: that the only way the deficits and then the national debt get knocked down is by eliminating Medicare and Social Security. Larry told Phil that he believes it even though "it could mean my own mother will be living in an alley and going through garbage cans for food.." Larry believes his mom might be on the street because without Social Security she won't be able to afford the rent he'll charge her when he gets her to put him on the title to the house. In our next hour Father James McQuarters talks to Phil about how a new wave of workplace immigration raids will threaten the protection he provides illegal immigrants...as long as they tithe some of their income as usual week in and week out to him. When accused of being no better than a coyote Father McQuarters rejoined "they want to pay me. If they don't pay me then it's them sayin' 'send me back.'"

Bobbie Dooley was touting the book "The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" written by Amy Chua on the show tonight saying that the "Chinese way of raising kids is the right way," telling them they are fat, telling them they are lazy, criticizing work they have done. Bobbie says she never had problems with her kids because, as usual, they were exceptional but getting other women to read the book by insisting they stop and talk, even if she has to grab them by the arm, is essential to spreading "Amy's message. Next hour liberal media pundit Charlie LeFountaine told Phil that on Super Bowl Sunday the American people will spend 10.1 billion dollars on festivities. "Why drink that money away when it could go toward the national debt," asked Charley. he even proposed an injunction against showing the game on TV and then levying a national emergency tax to collect that money. Instead, says Charlie, most people will spend the day the way his son will, sitting on the floor in an empty house except for a bean bag chair with the heating and water turned off watching some big screen he spent his money on and "drinking the day away."

Phil welcomed Don Mixa to his show to talk about high speed rails. At the end of the interview when asked about WHO would work on these high speed demons Don exclaimed "How Bout YOU Phil". Later we talked with Dr. Ron Tarner who objected to Michelle Bachman, a congresswoman from Minnesota, using a photo of the flag-raising on Iwo Jima by Marines as a symbol of the Tea Party fight with Barack Obama. Dr. Tarner meanwhile thought it was perfectly acceptable for him to use the same picture as a symbol of his fight for animal rights. He also used the Kennedy assassination photo to protest mercury in canned tuna and the Martin Luther King Memphis motel photo to protest KFC.

Doug Dannger, gay Man and Gay Journalist, talked to Phil about his new group 2nd Amendment Re-Think, a "confederation of writers and oth3r citizens who think we needf to holster our weapons and take a step back because it's getting kind of hairy." Doug thinks a better idea is to pay cops more money so that the next time it's choice between "some nachos and cheese at 7-11 and rolling to the scene of a bald-guy shooting the place up" they'll choose the latter. Next up Justin Macelroy, high school junior, advocated conceal and carry for high school students because he said they are the ones most at risk. Justin recounted the story of a "big kid" who had been dropped from the football team that he and his friends gave a hard time to. Somehow Justin thinks that kid bullied him so he pulled a Glock from his book bag and held it under the kids chin. Justin feels this is the best way to deal with school bullies and "adults that wanna touch us."

In our first hour, Don Micksa of the University of Washington tells us he came up with "Kick a Kristian" day after reading about "Kick a Jew" days at high schools around the country. The idea was to openly mock believers "since Jews are atheists." Don was discussing it with some students when he spotted a female student wearing a Christian cross around her neck. He said he walked up behind her and "kicked her in the butt right between the butt cheeks." Since Don was wearing sandals he feels the kick was very gentle although it was, in his words, "the closest thing to getting a handful you could could imagine even though you can't get a handful per se with your foot" Next up was Steve Bosell of Corona, Ca. complaining that MTV is liable in getting him to want to have sex with a 15 year old since they put the show "Skins" on featuring sexual activity and nudity among teens. Steve said that he realized that what he was watching was a show about teens, not adults. He also realized that he was interested in seeing whether or not the teens on the show were "available" against his own better judgement. Mr. Bosell concluded by describing an episode where a teen named Tony "is standing with his back to the camera and his pants are pulled down and he's taken Viagra so naturally you wondering all about it".
