These comments represent a selection of ignorant ungrateful and rude bitches. Nice way to pay back one of the only truly funny professionals in the business. To think of how many countless hours of entertainment that Phil has given the world and all you can do is sit on your useless asses and demand more. Please go fuck yourselves.
The scariest thing is that most of those douchebags have driver’s licenses and have been cleared to drive on public roadways. This guy has given us years of amazing humor and art..
Tom,
You’re so eloquent but can we watch the language? —Margaret
Hey Brian,
Eat shit. That concert was brilliant and I listened to it more than half a dozen times this week. I’m saying that when the 2nd best show of the week tirelessly works it the same ongoing gags (working out in the gym while being interviewed, Bobbie baiting like a maniac (actually had a couple funny moments) and so on its straight up wanking off with little effort. Phil can pull it off because he’s brilliant. Now I’m not asking for Wes Hurlford concert level brilliance everyday, but when you’ve listened to as many hours of Phil as I have you can tell when he’s not interested or distracted. Me paying for my.subscription leaves me the right to tell Phil that I hope for better. I don’t troll the site like that “all hail the paywall” dickhead Jefferson whatever his name is, but as a fan that loves Phil’s work I want to tell him how I feel. I’m not ganging up on the man. I’m simply a little disappointed in his commitment, but lots of people are saying the same thing. I’m not bitching about the site. The site looks a million times better than the old one that looks like an amateur put it together. I wish Phil the best and just wanted to say how I felt. I’ve felt this way since January and waited for him to turn it around. I’m done rambling. Don’t like it? Cram it up your ass pal. Peace
Tom,
No-one one gives a shit about your opinion.
Love,
Everyone else here.
No name-calling from me, but I agree with the spirit of these posts. Phil has become the Johnny Carson of podcast hosts, posting as few as two (or sometimes one) new shows a week. His quest for on-camera and voice-over acting work has led him to neglect the very thing that has made him successful.
JFC! Can’t you stop pounding your pud for at least one hour a day and give us a new show?
Tom and Allen–quitcher bitchin’, you obviously haven’t been listening closely–recently Phil did an entire concert by Wes Hurlford–it was silly but brilliant–classic Phil.
Don’t listen to the Trumpites Phil–rock on!
See, that guy doesn’t think the show is funny anymore. I told you guys there are plenty others, especially if you’ve been listening to Phil for a long time. I just listen to the classic hour now, that’s all. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, CHANGE THE FORMAT. Do SOMETHING different. I was thinking, get rid of everyone in the studio, except for Bud, and do interviews with celebrities or take calls again or something. It needs to change. Too long at the same thing.
Allen Reed’s got it spot on. He articulated perfectly a great majority of BSP’s are thinking. We know you’ve got it in ya Phil.
Jesus Phil,
I love you man, but paddle it much? Half baked and rewarmed partial ideas from old and recent shows doesn’t exactly add up to a “new show”. Someone has to tell you man. You’ve seemed interested or distracted this year. I’ve been waiting for it to turn around and get back to how it was before. I’m just being honest. I could kiss your ass like some of the sycophants on here, but I’m being honest instead. You used to do 2-3 hrs a night 4 or 5 nights a week, Milwaukee Lions, actual BSP only shows on Saturdays (not paddling it on Friday night chat as a show) and much more. I just hope you get passionate about this amazing world you’ve created. It might not be as glamorous as Hollywood, but it’s yours and it’s not bullshit. Do the great work and things will come to you man. I’ve rambled long enough. Have a great weekend man. I do love you Phil (in a platonic way)
One of 2016’s best shows!!
