The funny thing about all this ranting over Trump is that you whining liberals would have had a stroke if anyone would have said anything negative about your anointed one, Barack Hussein Obama. You whiners can dish it out but you can’t take when someone challenges your ideas or questions your leaders in the Democrat Party. Democrats/liberals equals hypocrisy… Everyone has rights and freedoms unless of course they disagree with Democrats/liberals then they are mentally weak… Please Phil, for the love of God stick with what you are great at, doing your show and leave the political commentating to the pundits! I listen to your comedy for a break from all this political bullshit not so I can hear more of it…
Thanks for telling it like it is. Bound to piss off some people, but hey, somebody has to do it. A lot of us agree with you and we’re s aded shitless about what’s happening to out country. Ever see “Idiocracy?” A future USA where there are no schools, millions watch a TV channel with nothing but butts farting and people are imprisoned for “talking gay” (i.e. intelligently). The president is a former wrestler who goes shirtless and always wears his “champion” belt. Man, we’re 5 minutes from being there. The majority of us who are terrified of this need to speak out now and get involved. Phil, love your humor, your knowledge of history and your guts.
Ending one’s subscription because of Phil’s political beliefs is a great example of his point about being weak minded. His show is not political, that was just a pre-show rant. If his his personal politics makes it to hard for you to enjoy his regular shows, you are being the very thing you accuse liberals of being…easily triggered snowflakes that need a safe space.
He does let it filter out into the show. Not that I care because it’s funny. It’s always been this way with entertainers and politics. They are damned if they do and they are damned if they don’t. Just like the lefties used to get all riled up against his pro war stance. Peter Steele of Type O Negative used to call out hecklers at his shows. “I’m the asshole? You’re the one who paid 18 dollars to say that to me. Who is the real asshole?” 🙂

Sharia law is only practiced by people that use that oppressive interpretation of the koran. You know people like isis and wahabi saudis, etc. They use it to torture smokers and lynch gays. It’s understandable that you’re upset, you’re a Hollywood guy so you mostly associate with rich “creative” people who aren’t affected by the shit down here. And it’s easy to let yourself by influenced by these people…they are very good at manipulating emotions, it’s their talent and they are paid ungodly larger sums of money for it. Add in an echo-chamber “news” media and you’ll end up actually believing that Trump paid Russian hookers to pee on a bed that Obama once slept in. Plus, hate is easier to sell. We recently had a D-list comedienne posing with the fake severed head of the American President. Who wound her up to the point where she thought that was appropriate? There is a Shakespeare company that ritually executes the American President to roaring applause every night (It’s Julius Caesar, but it’s really DRUMPF!) Who filled their heads with boiling hate? (hint, it wasn’t the Tea Party).

Thank you, Phil! I’ve been waiting for you to say what you said today. You nailed it, man! We are, indeed, in some serious fuckin’ doo-doo. (And 30% is being generous – it’s actually more like 25%. Republicans are in the minority, and the folks who elected Trump are a minority of them.) Well done.

Can you imagine if we said some of the same things when we were not happy with Obama, my god they would’ve come unglued.. I’ve for one am not giving any more money to these crazy liberal freaks. Phil you’re talented but that doesn’t mean you’re right! I’m letting my money do the talking and canceling this membership, I can be entertained anywhere. Stop spending money with people you don’t agree with they’re just giving it to fielder craziness.
I’m not ready to walk away. I can understand when something occupies a huge part of your mind, it can’t help but seep into your work. If Phil ever gives in and becomes another Stephen Colbert or Seth Meyers clone, I’ll go elsewhere. If he’s able to keep serving steak in a world of burger joints, I’ll be here.
