HR 1 – Phil talks the slow-moving economy with Herb Sewell. Sewell sets up a system for his employees to let him know what they are willing to do to keep their jobs including taking a 10% pay cut as long as they can keep their benefits and “anything”. The decision as to whether they will keep their jobs will be made in 2 weeks. REPEAT – RC Collins from 10/4. Wayne Gretsky, hockey, and Prince Phillip saying dumb shit.
HR 2 – Phil talks anti-war demonstrations in L.A and George Bush’s speech, the DC Sniper, the Zodiac Killer. Jay Santos gives mothers a list of acceptable Halloween costumes. Phil closes with the Queen’s visit to Canada during the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday.
