Attorney Harvey Weirman guests in this discussion of whether or not "Smonday" (the day after Super Bowl Sunday) should be a national holiday. Ted Bell and Tom Cattan talk about Cattan leaving the health food business, tired of all the crank calls from Phil's listeners giggling at any mention of bananas and cucumbers. The BSP Classic Hour, from January 2006, is with Art Griego who believes the handling of luggage is a courtesy to airline customers. Art says pilots have a right to throw a bag off the plane if they see fit. Hal and Viola even call in to tell Phil they agree with Art.

The BSP Classic Hour, from December 1999, is a Super Classic with RC Collins, a kid so dumb he's never heard of Pearl Harbor but liked seeing all the explosions on TV.

Ep. 1124

Note: Carl Misla evolved into today's Don Micksa.

Ep. 1123

General Gaylen Shaw fills in today for Phil Hendrie. The General’s show, “General Gaylen Shaw: Your Move,” brings on guest Larry Grover who has commissioned a new medal based on Donald Trump’s fundraising for veterans. “The Donald J. Trump Service Action Medal” features a relief of Trump “in a business suit and dress shoes” carrying a wounded soldier to safety as bullets fly by. The General thinks it’s a load. Originally aired January 29, 2016. Our BSP Classic Hour from August 2001 is the classic Jeff Dowdder/Jesus’s DNA episode. Dowdder wants Jesus's DNA from the Shroud of Turin so he can clone it in Mexico where it’s legal.

Ep. 1121

Monday, January 30, 2017

Don Micksa, investigative reporter, discovers his wretched breath is from eating beef jerky and not flossing. Austin Amarka says Micksa's breath is so funky that it's "an affront to God's law." Bobbie Dooley's says Trump seemingly leaving Melania at the foot of the stairs when meeting the Obamas on Inauguration Day was all according to protocol. The BSP Classic Show is from September 1, 2004. It includes Jay Santos on patrol and harassing motorists who pick their kids up at school but live less than 5 miles away.

Ep. 1119

Friday, January 27, 2017

Jeff Dowdder talks about the decline of snowboard culture, which morphs into General Shaw remembering the time he smoked DMT cured weed in Vietnam. Jackson Armstrong reviews highlights in the career of Tom Clements, former Fighting Irish star and Packer coach. But General Shaw is still in a bad mood about his 'Nam experiences. The BSP Classic Hour features RC Collins, who is upset because he was bidding on a Syrian insurgent skull on eBay and the item was removed.
