Ep. 282

Friday, February 7, 2014

Tonight it was a discussion of Woody Allen and whether he has a libel case. Harvey Weirman came on and kept calling him Woody Herman and wondered aloud if "the world renowned clarinet player is also a pervert." Frank Grey then regaled the crew with the story of Margaret dancing to a John Lee Hooker song in New York one night that turned pornographic. In fact the same thing happened in studio when Phil started playing the classic "Annie Mae." General Shaw talked with Phil about Olympic security and the different special forces each country has: Russia's Spetsnaz and the US Marine Corps "Death Squad 5".

Ep. 280

Thursday, February 6, 2014

Phil discussed with the panel the Sochi Olympics and the treatment of gay people there. Doug Dannger said he'd have no problem drop-kicking Putin into the Caspian Sea. Steve Bosell came on the program with two problems. The first was the stupid music that accompanies Candy Crush Saga and how it makes him look silly while he's playing the game and the second was the fact that, on occasion, Steve shits in his pants and considers it a normal occurrence. He can't understand why he's made fun of by his crews as the result....

Ep. 278

Wednesday, February 5, 2014

Phil was on the Man School videocast, so we've got some Comedy Gold on the radio from February 27, 2001. Ted Bell opened the show to discuss his recent marital problems. He answered his cell phone while his wife was giving him oral sex. She got pissed off, but Ted feels that he has been clear: He's Ted Bell and the cell phone stays on for business. The second hour started with Margaret Grey at Mardi Gras. Margaret got caught up in the moment and flashed her enhanced boobs. A nine year old boy saw and his grandparents complained. Margaret pushed her "media credentials" in the hotel manager's face and got to stay. Doug Danger wrapped up the show to talk about Matthew Perry in rehab. Doug thinks that Matt is a spokesman for his generation, carries the show "Friends", and deserves to get a pass for his drug use. As a gay man, Doug knows what the pressure is like.

Ep. 277

Tuesday, February 4, 2014

Phil brought on Rudy Canosa to discuss his new Ladies T in pink. During the interview, naturally, the lingerie store fog horn, to alert employees that fat women were entering and trying on the dainty underthings, was firing off at a record clip. Frank Grey and Steve Dooley discussed the danger of a woman offering a man a "backstage pass" to Phil's website for Valentines Day. What does that really mean. Bud and Robert debated creation theory vs evolution theory.

Ep. 276

Monday, February 3, 2014

A discussion of Philip Seymour Hoffman led Dr. Jim Sadler to reveal his wife Melanie was a 'degenerate morphine addict" before they were married. She's okay now, says the Doc, except for the occasional creep that drops her off after she's been out dancing... Doug Dannger came close to correctly predicting the final score of the Super Bowl, taking Seattle 50-10. The final was Seattle, 43-8. He lorded it over coach Vernon Dozier who badly missed the final, calling a Denver win of 43-3. Phil, along with everyone else, was skeptical of the story told by Mr. Jose Salvador Albarengo who claimed to have been adrift for a year between Mexico and the Marshall Islands where he was discovered Thursday...
