A discussion of how to pronounce the surname of “Barger” leads Phil to check in with hotel manager Mark Barger (pronounced “bar”nun…we think), who only muddies the waters further. This also leads to a review by Phil of History Channel’s “Outlaw Chronicles” which is the remembrances of Ventura Hells Angel George Christie. Bobbie Dooley proudly discusses the fact that she has a Twitter follower from Finland. And Jay Santos is hurt by the fact that Dagon Newton, Major Elvis Newton’s son, is in line to become the next Newton (CAP leader) and not Jay himself.

Episode 475 from The World of Phil Hendrie podcast.

Last Thursday’s (Sept. 24)show regarding the pronunciation of Mark “Barger” was unbelievably funny. I was working out at the gym and laughing out loud as I listened, with folks looking at me like I was some sort of freak! Now, is it “Barg-nun” or “Bar-none”? Great work, Phil!

If NBC can bring back a crappy show they shit-canned years ago like Heroes, any chance of Bud and Robert bringing back Ironswine?
