Was listening to An American Girl not 3 hours ago on the radio on the drive home from work. Started doing the SotL soliloquy getting alway to the FBI!! Was thinking how bitchin it would be for a PHS “character” slot for that phrase!! Phil has used it with all the top characters over the years, even Dozier!!

Oh yeah, on the classic at 105 minute mark, Bob Green goes into it…

Agreed! Vernon most definitely deserves a place on the Mount RUshmore of Hendrie characters.

Vernon Dozier’s mother was Belle Barth?

In Phil’s description of his friend’s mother, I was reminded of the Joan Crawford character in Mommie Dearest.

Vernon!!! I’m already grinning ear to ear in childlike anticipation. It’s a good day after all.

Vernon’s mother 😀 There was a panel show in the past couple years where Vernon talked about his mom walking around with her robe open AHAHAH And there’s a classic show and Vernon talks about his ruined childhood because she kissed him on the lips when dropping him off for school.

Vernon needs a character page for the love of Christ! All the shows containing these integral bits and pieces to the life of their character needs to be linked up.
