Phil closes talking about an upcoming King of the Hill voiceover, trying restaurants. Hour 3: FIRST HALF. Phil talks some more about places he and his family eats, a rant about round-the-world balloons. Phil reads listener e-mail about Chandra Levy, ridiculously expensive movies. SECOND HALF. Flashback of 2001-08-06c CNO. Phil talks about cloning. Says he wasn't able to get callers upset. Talks about his more controversial shows like Bob Green checking for too many supermarket samples and "Pope Is Backed Up", which got the PHS cancelled in one market.

Phil closes talking about the fad of foreign names for kids, and how certain names like Ian are cherry-picked. He suggests it's not very American. Hour 2: Coach Vernon Dozier says that kids dying on high school football fields is because of a 'pussy' stamina. Phil closes discussing Sylvia, a self-professed MENSA member, who unwittingly argues with Phil's fake character and plays her in a flashback 2001-08-20 hour one Hour 3: FIRST HALF. Connie Chung's upcoming interview with Gary Condit. Phil promotes the BSP and archives. Phil performs South Of The Border Diary August 13. SECOND HALF. Phil does Larry King opening, Phil talks about news themes, bubonic plague, scary movies. Phil complains he can't get good celebrity guests to visit the studio, but Gary Oldman, Harry Shearer, and others did show.
Skippy and Frank started the show with their 4th of July Special, by sticking an M80 up Skippy's ass. Phil then went on a rant about watching music videos with the sound turned down. Raj Feneen came on in the second hour to say that he used USA flags to wash his car and dry off his dog. He thinks that immigrants should be allowed to do what they want if they pay for it, because they're treated harder. Steve Bosell wrapped up the show to discuss his 4th of July the prior year. Steve saw Platoon and Saving Private Ryan before a fireworks show and it scared him until he crapped his pants. He's trying to get post-traumatic workers comp.
Steve Bosell kicked off the show tonight to tell us that he bought his daughter a puppy and it pissed on him. The neighbor saw and laughed. Steve's suing him, the kennel, his daughter, and the dog! He wants to evict the dog from his house. Clara Bingham joined us in the second hour to say that no mother would risk death to save a child attacked by a shark. They'd call 911, but wouldn't risk orphaning the other kids. Bobbie wrapped up the show. She called to criticize the show because Phil asked for criticism. Phil says "I gotta be me" and played the song by Sammy Davis Jr.
