Doom Hurdle at Cratered Park Bob Green discussed Donald Sterling while his store is featuring a post-Easter Sale called "The Crucifiction Continues." Bob claims it has nothing to do with Sterlings on-going problems. It's about selling left-over Easter candy even though Phil and the panel point out that Easter was about resurrection, not crucifiction. Ted Bell, owner of Ted's of Beverly Hills steakhouse, told the audience about being at the Beverly Hills Hotel to protest the government of Brunei's ownership. Ted said Jay Leno led the assembled people in a protest cheer; "1-2-3 Brunei can shove it up their ass!" Jeff Dowdder was at Cratered Park in either Nebraska or Texas riding the roller coaster Doom Hurdle. He sounded like he was going to die but afterward said it was just "okay." Ted Bell came on the show to talk about his aggressive business stance even in the face of an Obama reelection. In fact, Ted said that any businessman who is cutting back his business hiring or spending because Obama won "isn't worth the sweat off (his) blank-blank." (Later off air, Ted admitted the words he would not use were 'nut sack.')  Mavis Leonard called the show to talk about her disappointment Romney didn't win saying her late husband owned 3 successful BP stations and Obama "burned BP out and ran them off...."             Bob Green's friend Roberta Robert Green from Frazier Foods chastized General David Petraeus for not understanding a woman will offer sex and love but what she wants is information. Its like the checker from Bob's Buena Park store that he dated briefly. She always wanted to know how she could improve her checker skills on the new machines. But Bob was suspicious. One night, at a drive-in movie theater, as he leaned back in the seat trying to recreate a sexy mood from youth, Bob found out the hard way what holding back info from a girl with braces really means.....

Ep. 202

It's post 9/11 as Phil brings on Ted Bell from Ted's of Beverly Hills. He wants talk radio listeners to show a pair of balls and get on an airplane! December, 2001. (Some of you may be wondering, "where did Episode 192 go?" Well, it was lost in a tragic fire. Just kidding, we accidentally skipped it.)

Show Log

Tonight Ted Bell rejoined the show for our national audience, talking about the need for liberals like Rosie O'Donnell to be respected and to be heard. The Ted's of Beverly Hills Steakhouse is frequented by people like her, said Ted, and if she gets wind that he's sponsoring a "conservative" show like the Phil Hendrie Show it won't be too good for his business. No sir. Next hour an alleged "homeless special forces veteran" named Don Parsley called the show, at first, just to say congratulations to "fellow special forces guys" the Navy SEALs. But as the show went forward it became apparent Don was there for a lot more and the audience wasn't buying it.....again.

Ep. 875

Ted Bell announces a new ad campaign: Ted’s 6 Things! He and Chef Chodillia roll it out but the ghost of ad campaigns past comes calling.

Ep. 2870

Ted Bell makes it “Ted’s of Beverly Hell” for Halloween.
The first hour featured Dean Wheeler coming on the show to talk about MLK's super powers. He claimed that MLK had God's ear, and that the Northridge earthquake happened because MLK is pissed that no one honors him. The second hour started with a rant about beautiful women and football. Vernon Dozier stopped by to wrap up the end of the second hour with some commentary on Rae Carrath. He said that he doesn't condone murder, but Rae Carrath's former girlfriend shouldn't have bothered him for child support... Ted Bell joined us in the last hour with his comments on people's weight, namely, those people who make a return trip to the salad bar. Ted also revealed that he follows people home who don't tip well, and makes crank calls to those who cancel their reservations.
Suspect Arrested in Beating of Giants Fan at Dodger Stadium KTLA News 3:55 p.m. PDT, May 22, 2011 LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- A suspect in the case of the brutal beating of San Francisco Giants Fan Brian Stow has been arrested, investigators confirmed Sunday. The suspect was taken into custody around 7 a.m. at an apartment building on the 800 block of North Mariposa Avenue in East Hollywood. LAPD Northeast Division officials confirmed that detectives and SWAT officers arrived with a warrant and arrested several suspects at the location, including a man described as having a bald head and tattoos on his neck and arms, matching the vague description released by police last month.    A tip from a parole agent led to the arrest, police sources told the Los Angeles Times. Neighbors said the residents had been living at the apartment for over a decade, and they had seen the man at the apartment for several months. The Giants issued a statement Sunday regarding the arrest of a suspect in the beating of Bryan Stow: "Today's arrest in the Bryan Stow case is welcome news in what has been a very difficult time for the Stow family. We commend [LAPD] for their hard work and we are confident that they will continue to dedicate themselves until all of those responsible for this senseless act of violence have been brought to justice. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Bryan Stow and his family and we thank the community for its tremendous support for the Stow family during this difficult time." Giants manager Bruce Bochy told MLB.com that the capture was "great news" and that "it's been hard on the family, but for them to continue to work as hard as they have been -- I'm talking about the police department -- and have a suspect in hand, it's great news. Hopefully they'll catch everyone who was involved in this senseless act." At a news conference on Tuesday, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck announced there are 17 detectives working full-time on the case. Detectives said they have several strong leads, particularly pertaining to the female driver of the car that took the two suspects away on the night of the beating. She is described as a 5-foot-2 Latina woman in her 20s with dark hair worn in a ponytail and wearing a white Andre Ethier jersey. She was reportedly driving a white sedan with a 10-year-old body inside. The assault happened around 8:30 p.m. in Parking Lot 2 following the Dodgers home opener on March 31. Two suspects reportedly knocked Stow to the ground, kicking him repeatedly in the head. Stow, a 42-year-old paramedic and father of two, suffered a severe skull fracture and bruising to his frontal lobe. He was hospitalized and stayed in a coma for over 6 weeks before he was transferred to a Bay-area hospital last week. Doctors at San Francisco General Hospital said Stow has been weaned off of five anti-seizure medications and his brain did not show any seizure activity during 30 hours of constant monitoring. The LAPD stepped up its presence at games since the beating, with officers on foot, horseback, bikes and Segways. The reward for information leading to their arrest and conviction now stands at more than $200,000.
