Vernon Dozier and Dave Oliva both brought their perspectives to the Penn State/Joe Paterno story. Vernon was worried that Paterno's problems will paint all coaches as perverts and Oliva wants to know "what Patino knew and when did he know it."

Vernon Dozier's reaction to the Oakland police clearing the streets of Occupy protesters set off alarms around Belmar Acadamy. Dozier, a senior and junior class advisor,  told his students that he felt a stress release when he saw the Oakland police"cleaning up the hippies." He described it as an "Oooh yeaah" moment with "a little bit of a hip thrust." Jay Santos of the Citizens Auxiliary Police is traveling to Denver to question the mother of a little boy, age 7, who presents as a female and who has joined the Girl Scouts as a result. Jay says there is so much of that "presenting as a woman stuff" happening that a lot of men, including him, are wondering from day to day whether they should be putting on a dress or a pair of pants to start the day. Journalist Terry Broomfield joined Phil to say he believes hacking phones should be legal for reporters so they can save their profession...and pass any good info they get onto the police.... Meanwhile Steve Bosell was talking about Harold Camping stiffing another Rapture prediction and how Steve was sad about that but also distracted by the nude pictures his wife was texting him. We had Pastor William Rennick tonight along with Father James McQuarters talking about having ones sins forgiven...for a price. Pastor Rennick will pray with people over whatever sin and at the end after HE has forgiven them he'll suddenly say "Now what are you gonna do for me....?" Mavis Leonard came on the show later to say she wanted to donate money to Pastor Rennicks church but "he didn't have change for a fifty." Assistant Pastor Bill Glidden joined the discussion to try and explain things to Mavis but she chastised him for "that bright blue suit you wear." With Justin McCelroy, David G. Retired firefighter Herman Whittaker agrees with the decision to remove Jerry Lewis from the MDA telethon. "It was Jerry Lewis that caused me to thirst for comedy featuring people with their knees knocking together." Mavis Leonard called in and agreed with Hermans suggestion they hire a black host. "I vote for Johnny Depp," she said. Vernon Dozier and Father James McQuarters called the show to talk about the upcoming high school football season. Coach Dozier talked about mental toughness and Father McQuarters discussed praying for a player on the opposing team to suffer paralysis. By the end of the segment Father McQuarters was begging Coach Dozier for a drink.
