Mavis Leonard commented on the fact that the name "Mavis" is popular again for baby girls. Mavis doesn't like it, says the name Mavis is "hellbound" and all it does is put you on a "fast track to meet the horned one." Chris Norton weighed in on Kris Humphries being sued by a Beverly Hills mens clothing store. "I don't think this clothing store knows that this guy was able to ass'ess the sess' of a pretty sessy woman... thas' ess'elent!" Then Phil and the crew talk with Frank Grey about a book Phil's reading; a narrative about the Revolutionary War by a young private named Joseph Plumb Martin. Frank, with his gender confusion, wanted to know "her opinion of General Washington. What did she think of her?" Some other messed up stuff..
Hour 1: Steve Bosell comes on the program to discuss Miley Cyrus's little sister Noah. She's 8 years old and is coming out with a line of lingerie. Steve says he's distracted by the way she looks. He says the victims are not only the children who dress this way, it's also the fathers who look at them. Hour 2: Mavis Leonard is on this hour to talk about cellphones in classrooms. Mavis says it violates the privacy of the classroom. Now students can call their parents if the teacher is abusing them. Mavis is a retired teacher but when she did teach she would discipline the "slow" kids by snapping a rubber band on their head or twisting their skin. Hour 3: Phil did news most of this hour. Austin Amarka did call in to say Phil was a wuss complaining that he had pneumonia. He said what about the show Lost where Ben had to deal with the smoke monster. Larry Grover from Conservatives of Kern County joined Phil to discuss his stopping a Nativity service at Marchmont Baptist Church in Culver City to tell the congregation "it was not a Merry Christmas or a Happy New Year because of what Obama's done." Mavis Leonard joined the program. She was there that morning and remembers Larry as wearing "a short sleeve white shirt, striped tie and seer-sucker red-sstriped pants." Hour 1: Phil talks about politics and takes a phone call. Hour 2: Phil relates a story about Executives from the Social Security Administration having a $700,000 party/convention in Phoenix Arizona because of death threats. Then Phil takes some phone calls. Pastor William Rennick comes on the show with his wife Clara to talk about Mavis Leonard. Mavis was going to donate a hot tub to the Pastor until she found out what he said about Barbara Boxer. Hour 1: Mavis Leanord comes on the program to talk about the story of 2 Montana teacher's aides who were abusing special needs children. Mavis being a former teacher has a technique she used with the autistic children in her class. It was called Reflective Reality Therapy. It involved dunking the child's head in water to reorient them to reality. Hour 2: Steve Bosell is talking about when MSNBC televised a self breast exam. He's suing the network for showing the breast on TV in front of his kids. He said he had to leave the room to "walk it off". Hour 3: Kurt Queety and Guy Barton of the West Virginia state legislature came on to say that they think the Tea Party needs to be shut down. They think that members of the Tea Party are perceived as racist and mentally unstable.
Tonight is was Vernon Dozier, high school teacher, on why a 16 year old girl would take off on a bike and then say she was kidnapped as happened in Northern California recently. The girl was actually with friends where she shouldn't have been. But Vernon says most of these girls grab their bikes and ride over to "the rich side of town to have sex with a guy who owns a hockey team." (He played "Poor Side Of Town" by Johnny Rivers here) Leave the kids alone, reasons Mr. Dozier, as they are just looking for some privacy after their mothers "shoved their big noses into the girls diary." Mavis Leonard, elementary school teacher, supported a Massachusetts program that passes out condoms to 6 and 7 year olds, even over the objections of their parents. "We don't need children from families with syphilitics in their medical history jumping off of daddy's flat-bed truck and hobling into school infecting our teachers." Phil was so disgusted he hung up on everyone...Mavis, the callers, everybody....
Larry Grover and Mavis Leonard: Larry is running for Congress and wants points for being honest about dating a 15 year old last summer. Miss Mavis is a substitute teacher who knows which kids play with road kill or wet their beds so she can keep them under control...
