Ep. 72

Phil talked with Dr. Ron Tarner about the Sphinx and how it lost its nose. But the conversation goes south quickly as Bud scoffs at the doctors theories and Tarner himself begins a bizarre tale of creating artificial life and perpetrating a hoax in Nova Scotia in the 80's involving a supposed "ghoul." Steve Bosell's initial support for "Gay Conversion Therapy" is misinterpreted by neighbor Roy Hutchins to mean that Steve is gay so he reverses himself in an interview with his hometown paper saying he no longer supports the controversial idea. Meanwhile Hutchins so-called "harassment" of Steve has never gone past idle comments made over the back yard fence. Other weird crap...

Ep. 60

Don Berman joined the show tonight to weigh in on Elizabeth Hasselbeck staying on with "The View" even as Joy Behar departs. "Elizabeth Hasselbecks best day will be the day she walks into Barbara Walters office and tells her "Thank you ma'm for the opportunity to take up precious air time that would have been better used by someone with more intelligence and skill.' And after saying that, she opens a fourth floor window and steps out. Vernon Dozier and Steve Bosell debated whether or not Phil used "baby talk" when he misspoke during his interview with Steve this evening. Bosell was arguing on behalf of internet privacy. While Mr. Bosell was videotaped at a bachelor party defecating on a sleeping guest, he doesn't feel that should used against him in any future business dealings.... And a bunch of other crap...

Ep. 43

Short but sweet, this is another Phil Hendrie Show classic! It's Steve Bosell talking about "taking one off the chin" and blaming Oscar Meyer for it! From March 2000.

Ep. 40

Phil brought on Steve Bosell, a construction contractor from Corona, CA who argued that the Mississippi Chamber of Congress should have let business people know that slavery was still, technically legal in that state. The Mississippi legislature had not yet formally passed the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution, one that was adopted by other US states in.....1865. Steve felt that as bad as slavery is, business people may have benefitted from having someone who would "do his bidding." Former jockey Little Ian Anderson came on the program to explain the English soccer organizational structure and how teams are promoted up through the ranks. He got into an argument however with Bud and Robert when they asked why teams with "cool names like Nottingham Forest" weren't higher up in the divisional pecking order. When they said that the name "Sherwood Forest" sounded "sissy" Ian said at least HE didn't have to go as far as England to find sissy's. "You lot is sissy enough,"he said. Plus other weird shit with Phil talking to himself...
