Ep. 957

Friday, August 5, 2016

By popular demand, it's the return of The Margaret Grey Players with special guest star Mavis Leonard as Traffic guy Bob Bakian. The "panel" interviews Ted Bell and Professor Don Micksa whose breath, it turns out, is so bad a cadaver dog once "hit" on it. Then for the BSP Classic Hour, from August 5 2004, Vernon Dozier is a real estate agent who hates "looky-loos" at open houses and will throw them out if they ask too many questions about molding and granite counters.

Ep. 954

Tuesday, August 2, 2016

Chris Norton talks about a new informal men’s group he’s formed for Sunday mornings called “The Sons of the Mexican Scramble.” They discuss their different Saturday night escapades and Pastor Rennick takes him to task… Later Margaret debates Herb Sewell on Orson Welles. Then for the BSP Classic Hour, from August 2 2001, Vernon Dozier, Belmar High School coach, would go gay for a night if he could be like his predecessor, Coach Nyerson, who had 100 kids die from heat exhaustion in 21 seasons.

Ep. 953

Monday, August 1, 2016

It's Jack Brainerd with "I'm Disturbed By This." Mr. Brainerd, with a sexual assault against a minor charge and a no-contact order against him, proceeds to lecture the audience about today's metal music. It's not Satanic, says Brainerd. It's worse. It's rude, insolent, and lazy with guys screaming their death growl right in your face. Then for the BSP Classic Hour, from August 1 2000, Lloyd Bonifide is upset with Charlton Heston for publicly admitting that NRA members can’t hold a drink.
