Ep. 396

The crew started talking about climate change, but naturally it all got personal for Bud who worried about an asteroid hitting the Earth and Margaret feeling she's being disrespected ("Don't wag your finger at me like you're the overseer and I'm in the field and you want me to report to the Master in the house"). Also talk about Casey Kasem was front and center featuring Don Berman from Channel 19 News and his favorable opinion of Jean Kasem based on "the pair on her." The panel also talked about how Casey Kasem is getting sympathy but a babbler like Sterling runs his mouth and "people want to hang him from a rafter in the garage." The end of the show went straight to hell with Rudy Canosa, General Shaw, and Ms. Grey arguing over the proprietary right to sing "Brickhouse" by the Commodores. Margaret, naturally, won and related to the crew that she sang the "Brick-Owww-se" part as if Frank "had mistakenly tried the wrong entry and I'm going 'Ow, Frank!'" Episode 121 from The World of Phil Hendrie podcast.

Ep. 431

The show started with a fishing show called "On The Water" or "Out In The Wild Blue" (the guys couldn't remember) hosted by Bill Hassinger and Kip Pernell. Phil and Margaret argued about what belongs in the Filth File when it came up that the fishing show may be a regular part of the Phil Hendrie Show so that people can "feel the spray in their faces." Margaret felt "spray in their faces" was an immediate entrant. Phil disagreed. The crew again told Phil that his physical mannerisms while speaking on the air imitated a muscular or neurological disorder and could be disturbing to PhilTV viewers. Frank Grey was eating breakfast at Mrs Olsen's and talking to Phil about a new soap opera he's producing called "The Dull and the Dry" about a post-menopausal community of seniors. Phil and the crew discussed some housekeeping issues with the General taking up space in the refrigerator for his cottage cheese. Episode 148 from The World of Phil Hendrie podcast.

Ep. 1865

Phil, Margaret Grey, Frank Grey, Steve Bosell, Bud Dickman and General Shaw are in Ft Lauderdale
We opened the show tonight with a discussion of John Boehner, the new Speaker of the House. Raj Feneen of Immigrants For Americas Rebirth had a laundry list of things wrong with Boehner, from the fact he said Saddam Hussein should "burn in hell" to the fact he said "God Bless You" to someone who sneezed. All of this is a violation of the separation of church and state, according to Mr. Feneen. Margaret Grey is sick to death of the school districts of America and their CONSERVATIVE agenda as opposed to the school districts that have a LIBERAL agenda. One such school district in Texas was sent a series of death threats this week. Ms Grey said that she doesn't condone violence but it's hard not to act out. That's why she stood up in a parent/teacher meeting and said she would never hurt children but any stray dogs or cats she sees she'll run over. "I saw a German Shepherd, looked at Frank and said 'There but for the grace of God go you.' And then I floored it."
Larry Grover and his mother Monica talked about Herman Cains problems and Monica Grover revealed that Larry's father had an affair with a girl that worked in his machine shop in Westchester. Mrs Grover also said that to get back at Mr. Grover she had affairs with two aspiring LA politicians, Blake Fondell and J.K. Carruthers, an auto dealer in Santa Monica...... She says Larry saw her and his father, each with their boy and girlfriends, at "Lincoln Bowl" during a league night but that Larry has "blacked it out."   Tigers Woods former caddie's offensive remarks at a recent dinner were discussed by Phil, Pastor William Rennick and Reverand Olindo of the Pentacostal Cathedral in Mexico City.  Reverand Olindo reminded Pastor Rennick that on a recent visit to Mexico he couldn't stop with the Taco Bell jokes With Bud Dickman, Robert Leonard, Margaret Grey, Frank Grey, Harvey Weirman and David G. Hall...
Don Parsley, a Backstage Pass member, watched the Costas interview with Sandusky and joined the show tonight to make the case that maybe Sandusky is just a big kid and the whole thing was a big misunderstanding Later on Vernon Dozier and Don Micksa debate Occupy Wall Street. Is it free expression or a typhoid epidemic waiting to break out? With RC Collins, Dr. Jim Sadler, Margaret Grey and Frank Grey...
Reverand David Castorini shared with Phil's audience the honesty he believes qualifies him as the messenger of God's word. He told Phil that he was "very, very, very interested in Chelsea Handler" but was not aroused by her and it botherd him she dates only black men. We had Ray Orloff of the "US Taxpayers Republic" protesting the "waste of taxpayers money reopening the investigation into the death of Natalie Wood. As a way of protesting this Orloff said his group would keep telling an old joke over and over again. "What kind of wood doesn't float!?....2, 3, 4......Natalie Wood!" With Margaret Grey, Frank Grey, Austin Amarka and Mavis Leonard singing an old spiritual "Loaded With The STD".

Bobbie Dooley tells Phil that the anniversary of the "neutralizing" of Osama Bin Laden will be "Obama's party" and the Republicans will just have to "suck on it." Vernon Dozier returns with Brett Buford, the father of a student that complained Vernon was insulting people that contributed to the George Zimmerman defense fund. Vernon and Buford traded insults, baited each other and basically got nothing accomplished through the entire hour... Margaret Grey and Frank Grey check in from the airport to tell Phil about "a wonderful, rustic winery up there near where you go to that ranch." They tell Phil it's called "The Burned Out Clutter Home," named after the family murdered in Kansas and the subjects of Capote's "In Cold Blood." Phil swears he'll never buy a bottle of wine from them as long as they have that name. Frank gets indignant. "You don't know who you're messing with." With General Gaylan Shaw...
